I purchased a mat for the bottom of my oven at a xmas tree shop. I lost two parrotlets because of it. I rarely use my oven but I had company and baked shortly after my Jake died in my hand. Several months later I purchased another parrotlet he was home several hours and looked healthy but after I baked a Lazagna in the oven he also died in my hands. I ask the Gas company over to check my stove. They told me it was the mat. I later saw a Betty Crocker Mat of the same type yet they had a warning on it that it can cause respirtory failure in birds. SO BEWARE
