i talked to my avian vet, she isn't available today, but her colleague is very good also and she will advice him on what to look for.

well his nose was dry when we arrived at the vet, so they couldn't take a good sample.
they did take a sample form his throat/inside beak and form his feces.

the feces of both birds had a light green colour, not good. i didn't notice becuase i was so busy with my grandmother and all the emotional stress. she passed away yesterday, on her birthday!

i feel guilty towards my birds, i hope they will be ok. they test for bacterial infection and psittacosis.
test results will come back in 3 or 4 days

I'm so sorry to hear about your grandmother. Sometimes, it seems like when it rains it pours. You are doing a great job taking care of him. I hope the tests come back okay.

Results came back.everything normal.no psittacosis!!
They only have a lot enterobacteria in their poop. Don't understand where this comes from. The also had a bacterial infection 6months ago and where on AB for a while then.
AV thought maybe caused my bacterial growth on sprouted seeds.... Will start new AB cure tomorrow.

Hmm interesting. Yes maybe the Sprouts? You know a little Apple Cider Vinegar in the drinking water is very good for balance the bacteria. Try about 1/8 tsp per 1/4cup water you can do it daily.
