Volkman Parrotlet Seed

Hello. Has anyone had experience with their parrotlets having watery poop, or just clear liquid coming out with Volkman Parrotlet seed? I gave my parrotlet this mix for a week and she LOVED it, especially the safflower seeds, but she also got really runny poop. I almost took her to the vet as I was so worried. But I tried removing it from her cage and her poop became solid again. Just wondering if this is normal for this seed. She went crazy for it and I want to mix a little in with her pellets.

Tumi currently eats it and is fine.

Tihota eats it (but he doesn't really like safflower so I probably won't repurchase) and his poop is fine. I'm almost sure I've heard this is an issue with some plets and Volkman's though. Hopefully mixing with pellets will firm up her stool a bit!

Hello!

When I served Bogie Volkman's food years ago, he liked it and it never gave him a poop-de-do problems. Go ahead and mix it up! Keep in touch. Send pictures.

Yes I have experienced this. When I feed the Volkmans and thus Safflower, the poo become much softer and goopy and a lighter green, when feed a mix of seeds it's more solid little dropping and a bit darker. I don't care for the Volkmans, all mine eat are the Safflower. I mix it in with nutriberries and other stuff to limit it.
