Recently my parrotlets had 2 chicks. Hand feeding still in the nestbox.

Recently my parrotlets had 2 chicks. One of them is 7 days old and the other is 9 days old. I want them to be tamed like their parents but I cant hand feed them every two hours since I be at work during the day. I intent to leave them in the nest box until weaned but would like to hand feed them my self. The minimum I can feed them is in the morning at around 06:00 and then at around 16:00 then before I go to sleep at 22:00. At what age should I begin to feed them?

you are discussing coparenting. I have not tried it but I know we have had several members in the past that were very successful with it. Hopefully they will be along shortly with some advise. From what I understand some of this is going to depend on your relationship with the hen and how protective she is.

I have a good relation with both the male and the female.
