My parrotlets won't have chicks

I had a pair of parrotlets for almost two years now. This is the second time they had eggs but no chicks. She have 5 eggs. It's been a week? since the first one was laid. I had candled the eggs and all I see is some small yellow yolk on the top of the eggs. I saw the male on top of her several times. What could be the problem? Please help as I am desperate for them to have chicks. Thanks.

I'm sorry. Some pairs just don't ever successfully lay. There might some diet changes or living changes you can try, but I think you need a group of seasoned breeders. Are you on Facebook? They have several groups there where breeders talk about everything.

I am happy to say that the 4th egg is fertilized. I can see clearly some veins. It's been 6 days since it was laid. How long does it take to hatch?

Depends on the blood line and how tight the parents sit the next. 18-22 days.

Finally I am happy to say, one chick hatched today. Should I be concerned about the temperature? Right now we are in the Spring season and the temperature is 62 degrees f. The mother is sitting on the baby chick. Is this normal behavior?
