Looking at the first one I wouldn't recommend it for two reasons... 1) dome topped cages aren't very easy to hang toys from. Levi's "vacation cage" (the little one at my parent's house) has a partially domed top and it drives me crazy. 2) the bar spacing is 5/8" which is too wide for parrotlets. 1/2" spacing is the widest that is recommended for their safety.

I like number 3. For my cockatiel, I had a cage skirt and loved it. I didn't find that it contained the mess that well, but I really liked having a perch or seed dish on the outside of the cage that still caught the poop. That way the cage doubles as a play structure. And yes, 1/2" is the biggest safe bar spacing for our GIANT tiny birds.

I am inclined to number 2 because of its width and depth. Inside Dimensions: 30"W x 18"D x 36"H. Parrotlets seem to be more interested in back and forth and side to side than up and down. Jules is always in the upper half of any cage she is in. The only time I have ever seen her go to the floor of a cage was when her mate Bo was ill.

Tumi must be the exception to the parrotlet rule. He uses the bottom of his cage to play ALL THE TIME, but also goes up to the very top. He likes to beat things up and also to forage on the bottom, but he also naps up high and will hang upside down just because. He does up and down and side to side and pretty much is a bouncy ball. I have a tall medium-sided Vision cage for reference.

I like the second cage best. It is the widest, which gives you the longest flight path.

Ahh you're right! i didn't realize with the bars on the first one. I had been looking at a similarly designed cage that had narrower bars.

But so far two for for the second cage. I think I am leaning towards that one, like you all said, wider, more flight space....and hey! colour choice. Bonus! Now..black or green :P

Oooo..... I like #2 because it's a flight cage, but it has those cool ledges and ladders. Lots of decorating options. I like #3 because of the seed catcher and it's pretty, nice food doors. That's a tough call.

Black. Classic, always looks good. Green will get old.

I like the length of the second one.

But those seed guards on the third on will come in handy.

My favorite cage is this one
