I'm having problems with my female parrotlet regarding eggs

I'm having problems with my female parrotlet. It's her first time. She laid 6 eggs but none of them are fertile. It's been 25 days since the first egg was laid so I'm pretty sure they are infertile. I have seen the male on top of her many times between each egg is laid but still they are not fertilized. My worries is that the hen is still sitting on them all day and when she comes out I see her chest visible with no feathers. Is she sick or something? I hope she stops laying eggs.

Are you trying to breed them? I don't think I have the best info on this, but I'll try.
The bare chest is normal, some females pluck the feathers to keep the eggs warmer.
If you candle the eggs, you can tell if they are fertile or not (I don't know how many days to tell) if it's not you leave it for only a few days (or replace with a dummy) and then remove it.
I'm confused when you say you want her to "stop" laying. It sounds like she has a nest box or somewhere to nest, and her and the male are allowed to mate. You have to remove the mating/laying conditions if you don't want her laying eggs.
We have very few experienced active breeders on the forum but they may see this post.

Please understand my advice is pretty novice, its just the best I've got.

Yes. I want them to have babies. And are in a nestbox. I have candled the eggs and all I can see is a little yellow dot and empty egg on all of the eggs. What is worrying me is the chick to stop laying for this time because I don't want her to get sick or something.

Should I remove the nestbox an all the eggs or is it a bad idea? My opinion is to let her a few more days and maybe she will abandon them on her own.

I asked a friend for you, she's a breeder. She said deffinatetly time to remove the eggs. She may freak out a little but she said remove the eggs, and then wait two or three days and remove the nest box. Let us know how she is, hope that helps.

I have removed the eggs. She seems to be doing okay. She slept outside the nest box this night but this morning the male and female have entered the nestbox again.

I think since you took the eggs away and shes fine you should now remove the box. Don't want them starting up all over again.

We may have covered this or you already know, but make sure she gets lotts of calcium. Especially during the egg laying.
