Are clear dishes preferred for bathing?

I have a slightly larger cage that I am slowly outfitting for Jabba. I say slowly because I am going to have to rearrange some furniture in the den to have a table it will fit on. Anyway, he currently has a 5 oz stainless dish for water. He occasionally bathes in it too. I was going to put a larger stainless water dish in the new cage since there is a bit more room but wondered if a clear dish would be preferred for bathing? What do your birds prefer?

Tumi prefers his water dish, my cup, or a running sink.

My Birds are all quite fond of this bath. Especially Jasper. He dives right in.

Sky likes to bathe in my hands under a running faucet, though sometimes she'll go for a glass of ice water, as she once did to the shock and delight of a guest in my home.

@Ozzie...love that pic, adorable!

It is hard to get a picture of her bathing. She just moves so much. Running water over her head, back, wings, etc.

Did it take her long to like it? Or did she go to it right away?

She took to it right away. She was always a problem bather. I had to coax her and then she would only let me bathe her by pouring water on her when she was in the mood. My wife found this fountain and thought Jules would love it. I was doubtful since birds are fickle, Jules more so than most, and I thought the price tag was way too much. Anyway, my wife found it on a clearance sale for $20 and bought it. Jules fell in love with it immediately both for baths and just to perch and chill on. We accidentally broke the first one and Jules moped around so much that we had to replace it. It just broke our hearts how much she kept looking for it once it was gone.
