Monthly Photo Theme Contest coming!

Hello Everyone,
The moderators have decided we will do a monthly Themed Photo Contest!

At the begining of each month we will start a thread in the Parrotlet Pictures Forum, where you can post pictures of your Parrotlet in Theme and we will have a poll to choose a winner.

We need your help!!
Please use this thread to give us ideas of the Themes you would like to see! The moderators will choose 12 of your suggestions to use.

Please keep in mind our forum has members all over the world, limit your ideas to themes everyone may participate in. For example, don't suggest "Fourth of July" or country specific themes.
Please also avoid Holiday themes that not everyone participates in.
Please keep ideas simple so it's easy to capture a shot. "Bird wearing Top Hat" would not be easy.

Some good examples are "Wet Bird", "Food Face" that kind of thing.

Looking forward to your ideas!!

All these suggestions would make for adorable pictures. I'm not sure how many of us have more than one bird sharing a cage, but one of my absolute favourite things to watch is my boys preening each other (which they do several times a day). The way they take turns preening each other, moving their heads around to get just the right spots.

The only problem would be getting a picture, since they have to rush right over when they see the phone come in their direction.

Lightbulb

Themes are great!

How about a theme of......Yawns ? I love to see p'letts yawn, although you do have to be ready to take the pic when a yawn happens. (I have seen some yawn pics on this forum and they were adorable)

Every night before night night, Bogie yawns several times. Now, if I could just get his pic.....++++++. He sure can open his beak/mouth wide!

Lore is on a distinguished road

  • Supreme preen(ing) (a.k.a. Fluffiest bird/cutest preening picture )
  • Personally I'd love a halloween/Autumn theme. Same for easter/spring!
  • Air Acrobat (either coolest flying picture or a birb doing some acrobatic 'tricks' in the cage like hanging upside down, hanging between toys, you name it!)
  • Spoiled Rotten
  • A theme around a certain colour

I'll suggest more if I come up with stuff... Gotta check my old pet rat board! They had great themes.
