Hello! I am not a computer guru so bear with me.
In the User CP, there is an option to upload a URL, or a second option to browse your pictures on whatever PC or device you are using.
The size requirement says:"Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 64.0 KB (whichever is smaller)."
I have never had a problem with the second field, try hitting browse and then select a photo. When you hit save it should work, back out and check if it has changed. If has not, try first selecting the box that says "no profile image", then save, then repeat the steps above. I do not know why but I have had to delete the current one first before changing it to add a new one, but not always. I hope that help!!

You could upload the image to a website like photobucket or imgur. They both have simple "editors" you can use to crop or resize the image and then save to your account.

If you want (or anyone else!!) I could resize the picture for you and send it to you?
