Kiwi loves playing cards

Playing cards make great shredder for Kiwi. He has destroyed 10 cards
in about 1 week. Just hole punch card on a plastic clip and he goes to
town. I have a little wooden bucket in the middle of the cards
filled with organic millet. So funny watching him. I also have made
foraging rolls with millet inside.

So this recently came up for me when I was looking into safe and dangerous materials. Turns out tinfoil isn't entirely aluminum, and is in fact toxic! Just thought you'd want to know so you can look it up yourself.

Toxic how? Like to cook with it, or if they chew on it? (Talking about the standard tinfoil, not the new non stick stuff)

I just did this. I was always wondering why he kept trying to get to the news paper that lines the bottom of the cage he can't get to. So I put some in a toilet paper roll because the roll itself wasn't good enough, he is going insane!

Thanks

Bowies favorite toys

Sorry I can't get any pictures but the best toy in Bowies cage is a Kabob
swing. It is made of some naturally colored yucca tree chips that he loves to
Chew on. They are even safe to eat! He loves it! It's about 14-15$ at Petsmart.

Also he loves to play with a shinny button with a fake diamond in it in my hands. Keeps him from nipping me. Got the buttons at Walmart.

He loves his Kabob swing I got him at Petsmart! He can chew on the whole thing it is made of yucca rounds and perch that r safely strung together with some sisal rope. It's his favorite thing!

Also, he likes to play with a silver shinny button with a clear stone inside with me got the buttons at Walmart.

A swing! Tzoco loves his swings. When he wants to rest he goes to his swing. They also love the Kabob toys. But most of all they like fresh willow branches, preferably with leaves so they can tear them off. I push them through a candleholder I have and they already start shredding while I am busy putting the branches in hahaha. Also climbing toys are great. Tepin loves to climg in his net .
