Hey sorry for the late reply..

The tree did hold up well. Rio chews on it occasionally and it is still in very good condition. But I should mention that Rio uses it only when he is out of his cage. I have attached a small cup on top where I keep some of his treats and he goes there to eat, play for a few minutes and return to us. This goes on while he is out of his cage. Also the smaller toys that were on the tree, I rotate them with that of the toys in cage. All the shreddable toys are long gone, but the remaining are still pretty good.

If you considering to build a tree gym, just make sure the branches are well dried and disinfected. Use bird safe rope. Hope this helps
