So very sorry for your loss

I have had my "Blueberry" only for a few weeks and would be devastated if something happened. I too have become very attached in a short period of time. As I write this, I have a tears in my eyes. So---So sorry for your loss.

Just remember that if you get a used cage you MUST properly sanitize it, as there are diseases that your bird can get from a used cage. It would be horrible to save a couple of dollars on a cage and in the process kill your bird. Proper sanitizing involves bleach, the fumes of which are poisonous to birds so it must be done far away from any birds and properly rinsed afterwards.
