Dr. Harvey's Cockatiel mix

Have any of you guys tried the Dr. Harvey's Cockatiel mix for your parrotlets? It looks like a really good mix and I like that's it's all real food. I tried the Dr. Harvey's budgie mix and I could never get my budgies to eat it.

Thumbs up

Hello, Grace! I think I will order some. I'll Google the words and see what I come up with. Bogie is at an impasse right now with a lot of his foods. He has lost weight, but he does this every once in a while. He is like a human. We get tired of things and we make changes, so I am going to try things out.

I'll let you know what happens. I hope it is good, by the ' Grace " Of God!

David and Bogie, the Taskmaster!

No I have not but I would love to see a good pic if you get some! I'm thinking about changing up my seed mix and customizing it a little now that the birds are eating pellets. Still in shock.

My budgies loved Dr. Harvey's Parakeet Blend

Hi...regarding Dr. Harvey's...I have been using it for months now for my two English Budgies and they LOVE it. (Dr. Harvey's Our Best Parakeet Food.) It contains a variety of very high-quality seeds, and even shredded coconut and bits of dried fruit. It does not contain items that are too large for the budgies, as most seed mixes do. I have never gotten a batch that is buggy, either. I am planning to try his cockatiel mix for my Parrotlet, when I get him. Would love to hear other people's experience with feeding Dr. Harvey's to their Parrotlet.

I just bought some of the Dr Harvey's Parakeet food! I like it a lot, I just started giving it to Jasper and Rosey my Bourke Parakeets. I previously had the Volkmans Parakeet seed, the Dr Harvey's has a lot more variety in it. I'm noticing they aren't eating all the seeds yet, maybe some new ones they aren't used to?

Ok so back to the Cockatiel food. I would live to try that also. I have some other seed to use up first, in fact I promised Grace I would send some....Whoops! It's the Volkmans Parrotlet, the Volkmans is ok but I won't buy it again. too much Safflower.

I agree on Volkmans. I got it because I needed some seed and my source was out of Higgins Safflower Gold and the ingredients looks to be good for Tumi, but he doesn't eat safflower seeds at all, so it seems like a waste. He also doesn't eat sunflower. He likes his grains pretty much only (buckwheat and oat are his seeds).
