3 new toys

Beaker falls in love with any toy that has a bell right now, so I had to make him some new toys. Here are the three I made yesterday to deck out his overhauled cage with.

Wooden bead, hemp rope (cotton would have been better, but the cotton rope I have is too big) and pony beads. Meant to be a preening toy so I might cut the ends shorter and fray them a bit.

Munch ball filled with coloured shred, lots of colourful acrylic beads, wooden stars and a spiky fish hung on some chain. Beaker is way more interested in the clip than the actual toy. Go figure.

And finally a toy I've been wanting to make for a good while, something that actually hooks to the side of the cage, rather than hangs. Mini fan, plastic straws, buttons, spiral stuffed with shred and dangling beads, spiky ball and a clip with hanging beads.

Now to try and encourage him to play with them instead of making incessant screeching sounds all day.

Beaker is a handsome male, looks like he is enjoying himself chomping on the metal.
Your toys look better than professional----you did a great job.
Ollie gets curious with wing-nuts around his cage.

Wow those toys look great! Despite being a crafty person, when I try to make toys they are pretty embarrassing.

I only see the first two photos...the next two are missing and there is a circle with a minus sign in it.

Thanks! I'm not sure about selling toys... seems like there are enough outlets to buy from these days.

Still unable to see the last 2 images, only a gray circle with a bar again. Like in your cage thread...

Did you edit the pictures in any way after uploading (editing colours, cropping, resizing, etc?) cause then it might have to do with the website you upload your images through. I know Imgur for example makes a temporary url when you edit an image, by adding something like ?2 behind the .jpg at the end of the direct link. Then a few hours to a day or so later, the site removes the little added thing from the resized/edited image's url. The url with the addition then becomes invalid. It's inconvenient and pretty annoying...

Not sure why some of them work and some of them don't. They've all been uploaded and shared in the same fashion. I don't them at all, just throw them in a shared album and link them. C'est la vie

I recently discovered there's another way to upload images. You can upload them as attachments. Then in the advanced reply/post mode you can click on the little paperclip at the top and click on the image name in a little box that pops up on the screen. It will put a code in your post and the image will show up when you post. Resized and all!

Hope that helps, I personally find it very convenient
