Wow, that's a totally super-massive birdie mansion...once toys are installed, goodness, that's going to be an amazing palace - lucky birdie indeed!

Gee, you really don't like your Flint much, do you?

That is so awesome. My daddy did the same sort of things for me when he was alive and able. I miss him.

There are days I have to wonder how much I like him lol but I actually "lied" lol Originally the aviary was supposed to be 4 ft x 4 ft x 2 feet. When I measured for the computer room where it is all day 3ft x 3 ft was a much better fit - and I decided to go with 20 inches wide because that is the exact width of a sheet of newspaper which would mean no folding or cutting As well it would leave me with some Stainless Steel wire for a carry cage. So it's 3 ft x 3 ft x 20 inches. I just realized...lol...when I went to measure again for the arbutus branch I'm putting in there. Still LOTS of room for a 27 gram guy...but not as big as first mentioned

Still have not had a chance to set this up yet however I have collected some amazing windfall Arbutus branches. One was the size of the box of my truck so plan to trim it down to be the centre feature of the cage. For now he is in a flight cage but I really need to get going on this. I"m also looking for suggestions on some good UV or similar lights that I can use in the top. I have some ss screen left so going to cut a strip out of the top for some artificial "sunlight"

Do you have any pictures close up of the revolving door? Making something similar and really like that door!
