So do you guys think its best to let the parents raise them for the first 2 weeks and take them out in small sessions ? I have all the things I need to hand feed but I am nervous and cant find any good resources about when and how... My female is pretty tame and my male isnt real tame but I can get him to step up

I have pair of green parrotlets(approx year and a half old and sleep in nest box every night)
Purchased together from breeding pet shop at 3-4 months old- they recently have been copulating- female layed egg at bottom of cage - following day he proceeded to copulate again (they hadn't paid no mind to egg) that night slept in box following day I put the egg into a small plastic bowl with some wood chip pings and she layed a second egg actually sitting over pot(with first egg I put in there) - they have both been displaying typical behaviour - head bowing- him feeding her- he seems concerned and watches her with great concern -they again was copulating even though she obviously hasn't finished laying is this ok? I have owned parrotlets for 10 years but have never had the privalege to see what I have and am not sure what to expect next at all as I have read that a first lay could be infertile
Appreciate any advice on what to observe
ThAnkyou very much
