I'm looking to get some dummy eggs for my green rumped pair. A local shop sells canary dummy eggs, would these be suitable?

The internet tells me that canary eggs are 5/8" while parrotlets at 7/8". However, green rumped I know are slightly smaller birds than pacific parrotlets, so the smaller size might be a good thing. You could try them if they aren't too expensive, and if they work you have solved it but if they don't then you'd need to look for other eggs. However, parrotlet eggs are white, and I would imagine that they do notice the color of eggs even if they don't notice the slight size difference. Anyway, I don't breed, but that is what I think. The breeders on the forum are sometimes too busy to answer questions (something about a houseful of baby birds), but hopefully one with dummy egg experience can give you a better answer. :)
